Playing the Royals helps The game I'm John Bono's between the daily with me, Aaron Cleveland of the Athletic. Yeah, I was on with Barrero, Dan Barrero yesterday and K-fan at like 4 o'clock, and one of his questions were, you know, last time when we talked to you, they were worried about the west coast trip and it was all

going south and now they're back and they sweep does that mean anything or is it just the royals

and i was like well it's just the royals i mean it doesn't not mean anything else it helps to have

your best three starters lined up against the royals too that also yeah although the bullpen

sliced up the roy is pretty good too.

Everybody did.

I mean, the role is just, they weren't good to begin with, but also they traded away some pieces and they appear to be just kind of... Like seven rookies started. Yeah, it was funny. We talked to, who the hell did we talk to? Some pitcher and asked him about that, and he was like, well, on one hand, you're going to assume some of them are struggling or aren't going to prove to be great major league hitters right on the other hand it's very

difficult to put together a scouting report right you don't know what six out of the nine

hitters you're facing our rookies you're going to pitch your own game right at that point

which i thought was kind of interesting but um yeah so i mean that you go out to the West Coast, you have a rough trip. Not only, you lose two to the Dodgers, which, you know, that's kind of like. That's kind of like taking three from the Royals. Yeah, but we also, we haven't done a free show since they faced the Angels either. We lost two out of three there. That one, I think, is more inexplicable or more frustrating.

I mean, you lose, you get knocked around or, you know, to lose two frustrating ones to the Dodgers in L.A. Right. And it's like, well, were the twins bad or are the Dodgers just a monster? Right now the Royals are absolutely monsters. Right. But it's the same thing as coming back home and sweeping three from the rows and going, are the twins back on track or are the royals just terrible?
