I'm going to get straight into what I think is a very interesting conversation in which

myself and Clive Palmer discuss the squad and the transfer window in very broad strokes

but obviously getting into some specifics when it comes to certain players.

But what do we need or not need in all the various areas of the pitch?

Well keeper defense midfield attack we go through that but we start by talking about

William, a player who signed this morning on a three year contract from Chelsea.

Well, from Chelsea is a free transfer, he's contract expired.

At Chelsea, he joins us 32 years of age on a three year deal.

Something which I think is a bit of a concern but you would hope the club have done their

due diligence in terms of his physical ability and all the various medical tests and everything

else.

And I realize of course that given some of the scenarios we currently face and have faced

in the past, people might question the wisdom of doing that kind of thing but it didn't

feel like the right time to have that conversation.

So we talk a bit more about what William might bring to the team as a player and everything

else and of course get into that whole discussion about squad building, whom I come, whom I

go, not hugely specific but the various areas of the pitch and everything else.
