Vices motherboard for a long time where he got all kinds of insane scoops around

data privacy, hacking, organized crime, surveillance.

He is like the reporter on these topics and now he has a book out that's called Dark Wire, which is the quite incredible story of how the

United States government created its own encrypted phone startup because all the criminals

start using encrypted phones and at some point the

Department of Justice decided well let's just make our own phone company a real

startup company to sell these phones to criminals except will have the keys to intercept all of their messages and calls the whole time they're using them.
