In the beginning, God had a garden dream.

He had such a profound love to share with the world he made that he imprinted his beautiful nature on the body

of a man and a woman. He called them good, then commissioned them to become one flesh, to live

meaningful, powerful, purposeful lives together from a place of loving oneness.

While things have gotten pretty off course in the world since then,

Jesus came to reconnect us back to God's divine design of intimacy,

to reform our hearts, relationships, and loves,

to bring heaven to earth, starting right in our homes and right in our

bedrooms. I'm Francie Winslow. Welcome to the Heaven in Your Home podcast. As a wife and mom of six,

I long to dive deep, theologically, and practically into what this possibly could mean for our hearts, our marriages,

our bedrooms, and beyond, starting in the most intimate places, flowing to the most public spaces.

We are asking God to renew our vision of his plan for sex, marriage, and heaven coming through it all. And I have to tell you, friends,

it's more beautiful, more meaningful, and more powerful than we may have ever been told.

We're going to jump in today and talk about why sex is worth it even when you're not in the mood.

Why sex is worth it even when you're tired.

We're going to talk about the drift that inevitably happens in marriage and why being intentional about your marriage connection is so important, not only for your happiness

and for the health of your marriage, but really for God's purposes in your life. It has all

connected. And so we're going to start there, but first let's pray.

Father, thank you so much for breath in our lungs. Thank you for the capacity to seek you.
