And boy, have we found a book that we probably and then did go on to hate.

Lair of the White Worm by Bram Stoker.

Just in time for Halloween.

We are wrapping it up.

I actually went, I almost went around to feeling fondness for it again.

I hated it so much that it almost circled back on itself.

Wow.

Like a worm and started eating its own tail.

Almost.

Yeah, it's, holy moly, is this a bad book?

Yeah, the bones of it are there, like, explaining it to each other and explaining it, like, to

Lauren on the side is, there are, there are funny things to explain about it, but, man, the,

the impenetrable nature that it's written in is unlike most things that I've ever read.

You know, getting to those funny things requires a bit of effort, and they're not as funny

when you're reading them in real time.

It's like, you know, when you get a bad bag of pistachios and you really, none of them are

open enough to get your fingernails inside of them, and you, when you pry, the sharp edge of the pistachio actually digs into your finger and

cuts it and you're bleeding and you still don't have any pistachio to eat.
