Jasmine will be speaking with Michelle Graham, who is the executive director of the Wild Animal Initiative.

0:23.1

And this is a really fascinating conversation about issues that we just don't confront often enough.

0:28.4

I mean, of course it makes sense, as we do, to talk about all the domesticated animals,

0:31.8

especially the farmed animals who we mistreat in such horrifying ways.

But she has a refreshing approach.

1:24.4

And I'm really excited about sharing that interview with you.

1:27.5

And on this week's bonus segment, I'll be continuing my conversation with Michelle.

1:31.8

So as always, if you're a flock member, you will get a link to the bonus segment in your email on the Tuesday after this podcast episode goes up.

1:39.3

Or you can always find it on the flock Facebook group.

1:41.9

And if you're not a member of the flock and you can afford it, you can join for $10 a month at our henhouse.org slash donate. And of course, to help us get through the pandemic, which apparently is never going to end, no, I'm sorry, I didn't say that, but you know, it's getting bad. We're still doing our flock Friday Zoom calls. I think we thought we wouldn't be doing them for this long, but here we are. And I'm so glad we are there at 4 p.m. Eastern time. Sometimes we have guests. Sometimes we just have a chat. We usually end up talking about how to shift our activism as well as how to take care of ourselves and maybe just maybe just catch up with each other a little bit. So if you're a member of the flock, we would love to have you there.
