Hello there, friends. Welcome to the podcast. Excited today that I am in a really cute jumper. If you were watching me on YouTube, it's so cute. Let me even show you. Can I just stand up and I'll show you? Okay, so it's Cheetah on the top and it's just black pants on the bottom there. I did a little, I do a little what I'm wearing today, outfit of the day for you, which is funny because I don't

think I've ever actually done that on my podcast. But I'm excited because I've only worn this

jumper once. And it was 2019. Yes, so it is six years old. It's the last time I fit into it.

And I was speaking on stage with Christy Wright and a couple

other business women at Business Boutique, which was Dave Ramsey's like female business meetup.

So anyhow, I just want you to know, I'm excited that the romper fits. And that felt worthy

of just showing you on YouTube. So there's that. All right, friends, I'm excited to be with you today. I'm going to be talking about desperation, which is the opposite of how I feel in this outfit. But listen, the reason I'm bringing this up is this. On occasion, I will have business owners, women who come into my coaching, who are trying to grow their

business. And they're like, this has to work. This has to work. And I can tell you that, I often see

that girl make decisions, hold her own feet to the fire, and make progress in a way that women who have a

backup plan just don't. I think sometimes the women that come to me, they see like, or they feel

as though them feeling like desperate to make this business really grow, they think that that's a bad thing.

When I would like to actually say, you know, that while culture may really encourage us to always

have a backup plan, you know, they encourage prenuptial agreements. They encourage, you know,

people to keep separate like bank accounts and things like that,

to always kind of have like a plan B. And I think there are so many reasons why not having a plan

B is like the best place sometimes that you can be in a business. And so I did a little posty post

on Instagram and Facebook. And not surprising, I didn't have a ton of people

like, you know, commenting on it. And that's fine. Sometimes, especially when I know I'm kind of going
