You are listening to walking the floor. I am Chris Shifflet and it is too early to be awake here in Los Angeles. It's about 6 a.m. And I'm tired today because I went to go

see Drive-By Truckers last night at the beautiful Terragram ballroom here in Los Angeles. It was a great show. I would say it was an inspiring show,

but I'm paying the price for it now because I got a busy day ahead of me and it's been a busy week.

And they are an American band out on the road

bringing it to the people and they brought it last night. I got there a little bit

late caught the very end of Lydia Loveless's set who I interviewed for

walking the floor on Monday and she sounded great last night. It's been a

busy week for walking the floor. I also interviewed Tim Easton, who has a great

new album called American Fork that you should definitely listen to as well. So there's

been lots going on. I'd say Lydia Loveless interview, Tim Easton interview, and a

drive-by trucker's gig. And we're only just past the halfway mark for this week.

Uh, that's doing pretty good. It's doing pretty good if I do say so myself.
