This is, I don't know whether you've heard of this yet, but it's very, very cool.

It's a not-for-profit that is kind of leading the charge to stop making stuff out of animals like leather and, well, material.

That's what they're talking about.

And instead make them out of plants.

Obviously, if we're going

to take animals out of the food system and stop slaughtering them by the gazillions, we have to make

substitutes for the, quote-unquote, byproducts of the slaughter industry, which are actually a hugely

important part of their income stream. And fortunately, it appears that you can make leather and all

the rest without killing animals. In fact, it appears that you can make leather and all the rest without killing

animals. In fact, from everything, it seems like there's a new story coming out every day about

some new thing that somebody's making leather out of. So I think we're covered on the leather

front. It's very exciting. We talk about a lot that I didn't know about about what innovations are underway and the hopes for the
