Today is a very important moment in Israel's history. In our episode today we are going to be learning

about Israel's very first king. That's right. Israel is about to get their very own king.

Instead of being ruled by judges, Israel would now be ruled by a king.

Well Samuel continued to lead the people and judge over them as he grew older he appointed his sons as judges for Israel.

The name of his firstborn son was Joelle and the name of his second son was Abaja.

Sadly Samuel's sons did not walk in the ways of their father. They turned aside from God after dishonest gain and accepted bribes and did not uphold justice among the people of Israel.

you are old and your sons do not walk in your ways.
