Penny before we get into everything but Penny wise has been one of those bands from the

West Coast who always looked out for the East Coast bands they remind me of East Coast

hardcore band the mentality the lyrics their songs and we played a bunch of shows you the guys during our career and they've always been great and guys always looked out for us. So I'm honored to have you here.

Thank you very much. It's great to be here in your beautiful stylish

kitchen. So that you know my whole podcast is interviewing people that have been

part of my life and an inspirational way so I like to go back to the history obviously

I'm sure he talked about this a many times but for the listeners I might not know Pennywise.

You're born in Hermosa Beach correct?

Yes.

And how is that growing up for you there? from the

home beach, correct?

Yes. And how is that growing up for you there?

You know, her most of beach and the South Bay makes up the three cities of South LA.

So it's a little beach community pocket of LA.

We always call it the bubble because all of us who lived there

never really make it out to LA.

Like I'm as lost downtown LA as I am downtown

Philadelphia you know it's like we all stay down in that little area down the

South Bay it's our little hiding spot in surfing, and then skateboarding came out of that.

A lot of the industry started in Hermosa Beach, the first
