things. I want to revisit why we started this podcast. I want to do a little bit of coaching for you.

We're doing some clarifying around here about what we're up to. We want to be clear with

I want to tell you about why I started this podcast. We shared about this in the very first

episode, but it's been over a year now since that episode came out. So here's why we started.

On Easter 2018, I was reading the resurrection story, and I was specifically reading in John

chapter 20, where Mary Magdalene is the first human to see the resurrected Jesus.

And I was struck by the words that he used to tell her, to give her instruction after he

calls her name and after she realizes it's the resurrected Jesus

that she's having a conversation with. He used the words, go and tell. And I realized that for a while

I had been searching for a mission statement, a purpose, some instructions similarly that I could

hand women regarding mission and regarding what I

believe we're all called to do. And so I thought, man, where better to start than the actual

words of Jesus? And if we could just equip and encourage women to do those two things, to go to

the people around them, to the places God has called them, and to tell the good news of
