It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Not.

A recent survey I saw said that 88% of Americans report being stressed by the holidays,

and 45% people would prefer to skip them all together. A normal holiday season, it can be painful enough. Maybe there's family members you don't want to see or parties you don't want to attend.

There's stresses on your wallet and stress on your time. The good thing about the holidays is

you have more time to hang out with people, the bad time about the holidays, you have more

time to hang out with people. It cuts both ways. Well, now add a brutal year to the mix,

a cancerous election cycle, a worldwide pandemic, and it's enough to make you just freaking lose your groceries, just lose them all over the

place.

New Year's Eve is coming along.

Woo, woo, like I'm excited for a new year, as if I could turn my back on 2020.

2021 isn't looking that much better, at least the pundits.

That's what they say.

And I thought the pundits were completely wrong when they were telling me in March that

it wouldn't be until, you know, end of 2020, the things were going to get better.

I thought, oh, that's ridiculous.
