Outside of the fact that she is one of the most remarkable women on the planet, it just so happens that she's mine.

But that's not why she's here.

She's not here to share you, share with you tales about my childhood or adulthood or anything in between.

We had to talk about voting. And for upwards of 40 years, she's been in the streets, she's been in the trenches,

with 5,000 pounds of voter registration forms and affidavit forms and putting things on my bed and in her trunk

and replacing the porch one year with forms.

It was a crazy situation.
