a dominant performance that I, I would say, mostly thoroughly enjoyed.

nearly as fun as celebrating the team I love, the Spurs result really bothered me. But I think it

triggered something important in me, something maybe in all of us that was missing. Do you like me suffer from an affliction? An affliction I like to call

struggling to hate Manchester City. I've wanted to hate Manchester City. I just have never

been able to connect with hating Manchester City at the level that I feel I should. Well, I must

say that getting zero points from Spurs off Spurs this season has tipped me over the edge to hating Manchester City an utterly worthless pile of crap that was expensively assembled and achieves next to nothing. I mean, you know, Premier League titles aside, next to nothing. So, yeah, this has tipped me over the edge and I think led me down a path. I needed to go a long time ago into hating Manchester City properly. So that's good. Yeah, we're going to dive into this win. I will let you know. So it's great. There was a fantastic instant reaction for patrons for this game, but I was away. And so I just did a little couple minutes at the beginning and then turned it over to Paul and Scott and Clive. And they had some technical issues with the audio. And as a result, a lot of people are like, oh, Elliot, we need you back. And I like it because what they don't know is that I actually triggered these technical issues. I was in there like a gremlin intentionally causing them so people would miss me. So that was a good thing that I did over the weekend. In any event, enough about that. We'll let you know that we're going to have a rewatch of this game, of course, for patrons. We're also going to have a midfielder manifesto with Adam Ray Voguey and Scott on Wednesday as well. So that's coming up. But let's talk about this game with Clive. so that people would think that actually they missed me when really it was just the gremlins in the machine. I did not know it at the time, but it does seem to all make sense now. It all adds up, doesn't it? Yes, kind of like the PGMOL campaign against Arsenal. It all makes sense now. And I have to admit, you know, I don't like the conspiracies. You know, I fought hard against them. But I am starting to believe. I'm beginning to believe the truth is out there, as a famous show once said. Clive, I'm going to say it like this. The first half of this game, and you know, we dominated this game. And I think it's easy to forget. We've kind of been dominating league games, period. The Wolves game away, we did okay. That's a hard game. And then we went down to 10 men. City, we went down to 10 men after playing really well. But like, we dominated Burnley. We dominated Leeds. We dominated West Ham and we dominated Southampton. and, you know, there were a lot of games in there that we dominated.

It's just those cup ties kind of made us forget.

And this, I think, was the apotheosis of the football we've been trying to play.
