We've just had caraboued cup football in midweek, mental, crazy nuts, bunkers, whatever

you want to call that game at Anfield. It was all of those things and probably more. So

we're going to talk about that game a bit of course today on the show. Isn't it really

the most arsenal thing you can think of to go to Anfield and score five times, five goals

at Anfield against Liverpool and still somehow not win the game to be leading three one and

to be leading four to and not win the game to be leading five four with just seconds to

go and not win the game. It is the most unbrand arsenal thing you can possibly think of.

And you know, it's been a hell of a week. All things considered on the pitch, not particularly

great off the pitch, not particularly great. And it's got so weird. And people are so

fed up with what's going on that that there's this sort of, no, I won't say a groundswell

of support for Jose Mareño, but certainly more support for Jose Mareño being manager

of Arsenal than I ever thought possible. I mean, I just, I just can't. No way. It doesn't

make any sense to me. Do these people not have memories? Can they not remember what a

massive wanker this man is? Do they not remember what a terrible job he didn't Manchester United

with all of that money? How he, he lost the dressing room? How the players basically hated

him. And when you're in a situation like Arsenal, are at this moment in time, you need an

appointment. If you are making a hypothetical new appointment, let me just throw that out

there as a crazy thing that might happen in the not too distant future. I think you need

somebody to come in and put out the flames, not walk in and throw oil all over them and

make them even bigger. Like hiring Jose Mareño is, is like having an itch on your leg.
