0:27.1	Before we get started this week, just a quick heads up.
0:32.4	I mentioned a few weeks back that I'll be going to China this summer, and now the moment has arrived.
0:33.7	Next week, I'll be leaving the West Coast for fabulous Suju near Shanghai.
0:39.7	So, first of all, if any of you plan to be in the People's Republic this summer,

0:45.7	I'd love to meet some fans while I'm there.
0:48.9	Second of all, what does this mean for the show?
0:52.2	Well, the schedule will be as follows.
0:54.8	There will be no new episode on June 7th, since I will be in transit and unable to record one.
1:01.3	There will be new episodes on June 14th, 21st, 28th, and July 5th, recorded by yours truly.
1:10.1	And then we will have some guest episodes.
1:12.6	On the 12th and 19th, a friend of mine from graduate school by the name of Sam Tominsky
1:17.1	will be coming to you to talk about Japanese social movements, as well as, I believe,
1:22.0	the history of NHK.
1:24.0	On the 26, we will have a listener, Matt Silverman, who will be coming in to talk about the history of Japanese cuisine.
1:32.3	Finally, the weekend of August 2nd, there will be no new episode, as I'll be getting back in town just around then and trying to get everything reorganized.
1:40.7	From that point on, we will resume normal service, and thankfully it looks like we won't have another major disruption in our schedule like this,
1:48.0	until I have to take my qualifying exams about a year from now.
