Welcome to Our Hen House. This is Marianne Sullivan. And this is Jasmine Singer. We're so thrilled that you're joining us this week. Jasmine, this is exciting because I love this guy. She's going to be speaking once again with probably our very favorite doctor, Neil Barnard, of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

0:26.1

I don't think he needs much of an introduction for most of you.

0:29.4

It was a really fascinating conversation with Dr. Bernard.

0:32.1

We chatted about COVID a lot.

0:33.9

We chatted about the Barnard Medical Center and the telehealth services that they're offering

0:38.4

now. And we chatted about anti-racism. So, isn't it funny how we call every single other person in the

0:45.9

world by their first names, but we call Dr. Barnard, Dr. Barnard. Yes. That's true. If I was like,

0:52.1

he's such a Dr. Barnard. If I was best friends with him, I would call him Dr. Barnard.

0:58.0

Actually, I'm going to be on the PCRM podcast this coming week on Monday the 29th.

1:02.9

It's a love fest.

1:04.1

And it airs live.

1:05.9

So if people, it's called the exam room.

1:08.7

And there will also be a Facebook live version of it, and it airs this Monday at noon Eastern time.

1:16.2

But Dr. Bernard is so incredible.

1:18.8

I loved this interview, and the bonus content per usual was phenomenal.

1:24.7

That's one of the things I love about the bonus content is that people are very, like, you know, their defenses are down by then and they're like, did you, did you call him Neil on the bonus content? I would never do such a thing. That's like calling your teacher by their first name. Like, what are you talking about? Anyway, so on the bonus content, you'll be hearing more from my conversation with dr barnard and as always if you're a flock member you will get a link to the bonus segment in your email on the tuesday after this podcast episode goes up or you can always find it on the flock facebook group and if you're not a member of the flock and you can afford it you can join for $10 a month at our henhouse.org slash donate. By the way, before we transition too much from talking about

2:06.7

Dr. Bernard, I wanted to say that on the bonus content, he talked all about his music. He is not only

2:14.2

an incredible medical doctor and helming the fabulous PCRM, but he is a musician

2:21.0

with a band called CarbonWorks, and you can find out more at CarbonWorksmusic.com.

2:26.8

And so after we finished recording, he said that we could play his song.

2:32.1
