On this episode of Neutral, I want to take a totally different approach to what's happening

with President Donald Trump.

I want to put Trump in the context of what's happening in America, because I think in many

ways he's actually a symbol rather than a cause.

And I would argue that this is about the totalitarian instinct on the left, that if you don't

absolutely give them total control, they have to destroy.

Now, that may seem like a strong thing to say, but I think by the end of this conversation,

you'll realize how I've come to this conclusion.

It's sort of perfectly captured by Speaker Nancy Pelosi's recent comment that, of course,

Trump will have every right to prove his innocence.

Well, of course, anybody who studied the American Constitution knows that's exactly backwards.

Under the American system, you are innocent unless the government can prove your guilty.

So to reverse that, and this explains why people fear the IRS and fear the FBI, and don't

particularly want a U.S. attorney calling to say, hi, I'm here to help you.

Under that model, the Pelosi argues, all of us are guilty unless we can prove our innocence,

but that's exactly backwards, because in fact, we're all innocent unless we're proven guilty.

So let's start with how they literally reverse the American system and turn it on its head

for their purposes.

And I think this is why you have to see Trump not as an isolated example, despite every

effort of the elite news media, but rather as a symptom of a much larger pattern of persecution,

corrupt implementation of justice, fundamentally dishonest law enforcement, and a whole approach

that to me is amazing.
