Former Mesa County Clerk and election denier, Tina Peters, is showing no remorse for her part in a scheme to overturn the will of Colorado's voters.

Now, Peters was released from prison today after Democratic Governor Jared Polis reduced her sentence, calling it extremely unusual and lengthy for a first-time nonviolent offender.

Peters was convicted in 2024 of breaching her county's voting systems in an attempt to

prove the lie that Donald Trump won the 2020 election.

She has never apologized for her actions.

In fact, minutes after her release, she appeared on Steve Bannon's podcast and had this to say.

I know that the Democrats are going to cheat, and no one's really addressing the problem

that I spent my time in prison as retribution for, and that was exposing the election

that allow the votes to be flipped.

Wasn't she convicted?

Yes.

Yes, by a jury of her peers, according to Jared Polis on December 11,

2025, she was prosecuted by a Republican district attorney and found guilty of violating

Colorado state laws, including criminal impersonation.

All right.

So then what the hell is she talking about?

And, governor, what the hell are you doing?

I mean, you think this, she's changed, she's going to change because she spent a few months in prison.

And so you think that, you know, extremely unusual and lengthy,

okay, so the courts can reduce her sentencing. That's why, I don't understand any of this.

It makes no sense to me. And to prove the point, she gets out of jail and starts promoting

the same conspiracies and the same lies that put her behind in jail in the first place.
