After saying he was going to the situation room to make what he called a final determination on a potential deal to end the conflict with Iran.

The President emerged this afternoon with nothing to announce.

Several hours later at 6 p.m., the White House put out the following brief statement,

quote, the Situation Room meeting is concluded.

It lasted approximately two hours. President Trump will only make a deal that is good for American satisfies his red lines.

Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon.
