Summary

We've followed several hikers this year, with Jessa covered pretty much the whole of the way. For this week's show, I decided to find out what had happened to some of the hikers we spoke to in earlier episodes. I wanted to know whether or not they finished and how things may have changed since we spoke with them previously. These three–Sarah Williams, Byron Church, and Kyle Bock–all had vastly different paths to Katahdin, yet all three were happy to share the rest of their story with me. Sarah

0:29.4	We're on to episode number 54 today, and instead of a single main guest, we're catching
0:34.0	up with three people with whom I spoke earlier this year when they were part way through their own adventures. I gave you a kind of preview last week with a lovely Kelly Anderson,
0:43.2	so this week we've got three more returnees. Sarah Williams, who was my main guest on episode
0:48.8	36, was attempting to complete the trail in just 100 days, proving herself to be the tough girl indeed.
0:56.0	She's a Brit with a really determined street running right through her, so much so that even
1:00.5	though 100 days seemed unlikely to me, she didn't have much doubt at that time that she could do it.
1:06.6	We caught up again in episode number 45 when she was at the 50-day mark in Harper's Ferry.
1:11.5	She was a little behind schedule, though not too much, and I thought she might just miss out.
1:16.3	She was about to hit the rocks of Pennsylvania and, of course, had to get through New Hampshire and Maine.
1:21.5	Well, today she's back to let us know what happened after Harper's Ferry.
1:25.6	Byron Church, or BC, joined us in episode number 35.
1:30.3	Byron had spent the previous 16 years from the age of 17 hiking sections of the AT.
1:36.0	He was planning to finish this year, so I invited him back to tell us how it went.
1:39.9	Barron will be on after Sarah.
1:42.8	Last, but by no means least,
1:44.7	Carl Bock, or Kickstarter,
1:46.5	entertained us in episode number 38,
1:48.4	with tales not only from his hike,
1:50.2	but from his gritty life,
