Hello, everyone. Hello everyone and welcome back to the podcast.

I hope everyone is enjoying this Labor Day weekend.

I hope for you and your families it's full of relaxing, joyful activities.

We have so many blessings and we have so many things to be thankful for.

Still, I know there are so many things to contemplate over a weekend like this one.

Probably the most important current event is the recent and final withdrawal of U.S. troops

from Afghanistan on the eve of the 20th anniversary

of the September 11th attacks on this country. Much has happened in a short 20-year period.

No matter what you think of what has transpired, undoubtedly you will come to the conclusion that leadership

matters and who leads matters one decision leads to another the intense nature of the gravitational

pull is sometimes more apparent than the goings-on of society than it is in the celestial orbits of

the planets so so much tragedy and

so much sorrow and all of it in plain view for us to see. Almost every one of us remembers where

we were at when the plains struck the Twin Towers. It seems as if all of us experienced some form of a fog of war,

so to speak, in those first few moments, and at varying times during the last 20 years,

as the world made its way forward after those events. The idea of hunting down terrorists

seems like a simple and clear mission.

At first, though, it was confusing because terrorists are not nation-states, and for most of mankind,

larger wars have been conducted against nation-states. This is a different kind of war. But again, this country had one more clear enemy,
