podcast for August 14th, 2016. It's episode 54. I'm recording a tad early this week, night because I'm actually leaving for a family

vacation so I want to apologize in advance if I end up missing any late-breaking news this week,

but I've noticed Tesla news doesn't usually

pop up on Saturdays it is a pretty well on Monday through Friday type of scenario

but I just want to throw out the caveat just in case anyway. In fact I kind of

lucked out that boy this week was looking like one of the slowest Tesla news weeks in recent memory and it got redeemed at kind of the

last minute. A couple of things broke, both of which we're going to talk about very late in

the week, both the 100D, 100 kilowatt hour

battery being leaked in a much more official way this time, and then some autopilot 2.0 scoops from Elect Trek. But first of all I wanted to kick things

off with something that's relevant to this week and relevant to this audience.

It's a little something from my I.G.N day job.

Elon Musk, if you aren't already aware, he's a gamer and he reminded us of that this week. He plays video games. I don't know where he finds the time

Especially because he seems to like long role-playing games

He's talked about how Mass Effect 2 is his favorite, one of his favorite

games. He's talked about playing a bunch of Fallout 4. And this week he mentioned on Twitter that he's going to try no man sky, which is the big big release this week, one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
