Louisiana, Senator Bill Cassidy, is the latest Republican to lose his seat after crossing

President Trump.

He lost his primary.

He might not be the last, showing once again that Donald Trump is willing to spend

time and money, a whole lot of money, to crush dissent among the Republican ranks.

But to what end?
