Summary

That empty building from Part One? It’s a whole lot less empty now. Crew Members are working hard, designing the look of the store – spoiler alert, it looks like its neighborhood! – from wall murals to shelf signs, stocking shelves with your favorite TJ’s products (and some new stuff you haven’t seen yet), and establishing relationships with community organizations focused on ending hunger, so when we open, we’re ready to be a neighborhood store in every possible way. We have a great Crew, in a fantastic location… so let’s open those doors on the Trader Joe’s in Parker, Colorado! Whew!

0:44.1	Some of the more iconic mountain peaks and then we in Colorado are known for our sunrises and set sets making this guy super colorful.
0:53.8	So that allowed us the opportunity to involve a lot of color in our murals so that it's not just blue sky and brown or gray mountains.
1:04.6	We spent time driving around and looking at our surroundings.
1:08.6	There's a lot of things from the original town of Parker in the early 1900s that still exist.
1:15.1	We built some of those things hoping that people should recognize them.
1:20.1	So it's interesting to hear you use the phrase you know building, building things.
1:24.9	It sounds like you're maybe making things in three dimensions.
1:28.2	Is it painting?
1:29.3	Is it illustration?
1:30.5	Collage?
1:31.3	How are you making this work?
1:32.7	The backgrounds are, do you say 100% painted?
1:36.2	Yeah, yeah, they're painted on canvas.
1:38.0	And then we've used like some wood and other materials to kind of emulate 3D.
