Summary
The tables are turned this week as the raters become the rated for part two of the talent show. We get thirty minutes of Ciara deciding she can most likely beat Discord in a lip sync and hoping to sway the votes that way. Meanwhile the Dions are keeping all of the wins in the family, the judges are not pleased with Kenya, and Myki almost loses more than a finger before clearing Miss Myst from the competition.

| 0:00.0 | All right, Mary. |
| 0:17.0 | I ate that motherfucker talent show up. If it was up to me, bitch, I'd be number one. She had a hard time lip-synke. You know that she was lip-synic in the chorus? Yeah, yeah, yeah, not the lead. Alright, can you please her? I love the butterflies. I found out quite relaxing, actually. And I loved it in the talent show when she was gobbling balls. Well,l. Well, she was supposed to be lip-syncing at that point. |
| 0:39.3 | Oh, yeah. That might have been a little cover for the word. |
| 0:42.3 | The song is called Kenya. And my question for Kenya is, can you remember the lyrics? |
| 0:47.3 | It was just lackluster. That is done every single night in every bar. |
| 0:51.3 | She always brings the personality, but she needs to marry the performance |
| 0:55.8 | with the charisma. It seems like the storyline or a throughline this episode besides some, you know, |
| 1:05.2 | family matters going on with the voting and the voting not really counting for anything. But what the through line was, was Kenya is not lip-sinking well. |
| 1:16.2 | We had Michelle come in and have a meeting with the girls and basically read Kenya down to her face. |
| 1:23.1 | And then we got this moment where RuPaul, they showed RuPaul after Kenya's performance, |
| 1:29.8 | be like, she didn't even sing the lead. |
| 1:31.9 | And the reason I'm sort of bringing this to the forefront of our discussion today is it does |
| 1:37.1 | feel a little validating to hear RuPaul say like she didn't even sing the lead part. |
| 1:42.6 | She sung the backup vocals vocals which on this podcast we |
| 1:45.8 | always talk about like that is a number one rule you shouldn't sing the backup vocals you should sing |
| 1:51.6 | the lead part always when you're lip syncing but the other reason i wanted to bring this up is |
| 1:56.8 | because it is so refreshing mary to have some honest critiques here where I feel like we've |
| 2:04.7 | just been doing a lot of kid gloves on drag race recently with UK versus the world and Canada. |
| 2:10.7 | I just like there's there's something very refreshing about like, no, let's say it out loud, right? |
| 2:16.5 | Like she's just not lip syncing very well. |
| 2:18.9 | And this is, as Ross Matthews put it, |
| 2:21.2 | the type of performance that you would just see in a club. |
