Summary

On this week's show I'm joined by Andrew Allen to discuss the 1-0 win over Napoli which secured our passage into the Europa League semi-finals. We chat about the team selection, Alexandre Lacazette's great goal which had such a big impact, how comfortably we won over the two legs, Napoli being below par, some surprising passing stats, the Aaron Ramsey injury and lots more. Then we answer some questions from Arseblog Patreon Members, and there's a theme flaming throughout the show with a chunk of the usual waffle. Enjoy!

Myself and Andrew Allen had a good chat about the game and then we did some questions that we took from the R-Splog members on Patreon, the Discord chat server.

1:01.4

I don't know. I associate this recording with afternoon and evening and I'm sitting here doing it in the morning.

1:06.5

So that's a little bit strange and also a little bit strange was what happened last night.

1:12.2

While we were recording, just as I started recording, it was brought to my attention that the next door neighbor's roof was on fire.

1:21.8

Seriously, he has this in his back garden. He's got this kind of cabana type thing.

1:27.4

I don't know. It's... is it a...

1:29.4

I don't know how you call it.

1:30.7

It looks like it's sort of thatched like a Hawaiian cabana thing where there's a little barn and everything.

1:36.0

It's very cool.

1:37.0

But I thought that had caught fire somehow.

1:39.1

Actually, what had happened was it was the back of his house and I think it could have been a light or something, an electrical fault.

1:47.2

But basically, the back of his house was going on fire and the people there didn't seem particularly capable of doing anything about it.

1:54.5

So I managed to get a couple of buckets of water and throw it over the wall and put the fire out.

2:00.9

But it's quite surreal.

2:02.5

Hang on. I'll just put this fire out then come back upstairs and do a podcast.
