And just a quick side on here, all height or weight profiles are courtesy of ESPN, and of course they are subject to change upon the actual NFL scouting combine's weigh-ins for each of these respective players.

Let's get right to it.

My first rookie, who I would take right now at the 101, is Leonard Fernett out of LSU.

Checks in at 6-1, 235 pounds, big bruiser-type back, but also has great speed.

He's 22 years old, collegiate production, three seasons at LSU.

Rushing total, 616 totes for 3,830 yards, and 40 touchdowns.

Receiving end, 41 balls, 526 yards, and one score.

So, Fernette is more of an early downward course, but he can also catch the ball. It's not like he's a terrible pass blocker or receiver out of the backfield. And

Fernett also had two 1,000-yard rush campaigns in college, including a 1,9503 line in 2014

with 22 touchdowns. Those were one of those better campaigns, of course, in college

at LSU. His skill set, it's a rare combination of power and speed, very difficult to tackle as
