We are going to be taking a look at who the fuck are those guys on the rapper of the Dutch masters they look like pilgrims. It's November it kind of fit

All right, so the dudes on a rapper of a Dutch master.

Okay, that picture is actually an oil painting that was done by Rembrandt in 1662. It's called The Synetics of the

Drapers Guild. It's a collective portrait. It's still around. People refer to it as

the last great collective portrait.

Right now all right. So the dudes on the rapper, those men in real life their job

was to assess the quality of cloth that was to be sold at their guild.

So there are a bunch of dudes who are in the textile industry who controlled what fabric goes into a guild.

They were making a ton of money.

And in the actual painting, all those dudes are around a table and

they're appraising a piece of like Persian cloth to see how much it's a picture of the

dudes doing their jobs it's a group portrait that was done by Rembrandt in 1662. Now, the rest of the episode, we're going to get

into why this type of subject matter was common during the Dutch golden age of painting, which is when

Rembrandt was around. We're also going to cover a dude named

Vermeer and Hieronymus Bosch at the end. But that's the flat answer. If anybody

ever asked or brings it up, now you know on a Dutch master's rapper that's not just like
