How are you? I'm sitting here recording just after Arsenal have been beaten 3-1 by Ren in the Europa League.

It was all going okay and then Sir Crattis got sent off and after that Ren really took advantage.

They had 19 attempts on goal. 15 of those 19 attempts came after the red card.

So a red card can have a big impact but often you see a team that organizes itself and stays disciplined and hard to break down.

On this occasion though it was quite the opposite Ren had so much time and space and possession so many chances.

3-1 it's a fairly emphatic victory and when you think about the saves the petr-check made.

So right that first half and second half in particular he made a string of really really good saves to keep the score somewhat respectable.

It could have been worse so all in all a pretty bad night and it leaves us a with a huge amount to do for the second leg not least because we won't have like a set.

And of course after his red card tonight we won't have Sir Crattis for the second leg.

That doesn't make things easier and as well as that going into a big game against Manchester United on Sunday.

I'm not sure this is the ideal preparation for that game either.

They've had a massive lift in midweek from their European exploits, a Laskaspun over PSG thanks to Var and a well taken penalty by Marcus Rashford.

And conversely we've had the win knocked out of our sales after a couple of good wins a couple of good performances.

It feels a little bit like a sort of a step backwards.

So what's that all that is about two steps forward one step back that's kind of where we are but I'm not sure how many steps forward and how many steps back we're taking.

It could be like 1.3 steps forward and 1.29 steps back. I don't know. I'm not a mathematician.
