I'm trying to think of a Valentine's Day comparison to what we got tonight.

Maybe it's Unai Emery coming home with a bunch of petrol station flowers.

The very last bunch actually of petrol station flowers.

The sort of bunch that even the most desperate man on his way home with nothing for his other half on Valentine's night looked at them and went, nah, nah, nothing is better than that.

It would be better for me even though it will be bad to bring home nothing rather than that bunch of flowers.

But that bunch of flowers is what we got from Unai Emery and his team in Belarus tonight.

I mean where do we even start? Are the mischances that we should have taken which would have put us in control of the game?

Are they the worst thing? Is the fact that we can't defend? Is that the worst thing?

Is it that we had 45 minutes and entire half to change the dynamic of the game and all we seem to do was confuse the players?

Was that the worst thing? The fact we didn't really create any chances?

The fact that we lost against a team that haven't played a game of football in two months?

Is that the worst thing? Or is all of it just together the worst thing?

I don't know. What I do know though is that it was bad and I don't know what Unai Emery is trying to do with this team apart from

getting Alex Uwobi to put Kalasanachi in on the overlap. The Kalasanachi overlap. That's what we've got from an attacking point of view.

The Kalasanachi lap. That's it. That's as much as we've got. I thought it was weird, frankly,

that given that Kalasanachi, okay he was at fault for the goal because we know he's not a very good defender,

but he does give you something in the final third when he was for whatever it was 66 or 70 minutes.
