My name's the American block me on Twitter at Yankee Gunner. Yep. Tottenham get battered wherever they go, and Arsenal, you know, they pick up trophies. So there was an award show last night called the Football Content Awards, a lovely event held in downtown London at Lancaster Gate and a big, you know, beautiful room, tables that had

candelobbers. I thought candelabers were a bit much, but, you know, it's nice. A great group of

people, a lot of interesting people there from the Athletic and Sky and BBC and, of course, the

AFTV crew was there and people from other clubs and the Gooners Pod won an award for Best

Charity, which is amazing. And we were nominated for Best Podcast, and we won it.

And while I'm laughing, it's partly because of shock.

But the thing that I wanted to open this podcast with more than anything is just to say,

thank you.

I mean, it is almost entirely because of the energy that you as a, as a listener, brought to this process and being willing to support us and vote for us.

And I know there's a judge's component to it, but I think it is largely just about the listener voting.

And so, you know, to do this, obviously, like, the recognition is not important.

What's important is just doing the podcast and enjoying it and having great conversations,

but what the recognition says is that people care about the pod. And that's all that I ever

wanted, Tim, Clyde, Paul, Scott, Linus. Paul can't be here today, nor Scott or Linus,

but we'll get something from each of them about it.

I will tell you, here's the really good news, though.

I buried the lead.

Arsenal did win best football club.

So this football stuff, the on the pitch stuff, we don't need it.
