Donald Trump just said on social media, quote,

there will be voter ID for the midterm elections, whether approved by Congress or not.

That stark warning comes just days after the House passed the restrictive Save America Act,

which if it passes the Senate would make it harder for millions of Americans to vote.

Just hours before that post, DHS Secretary Christy Knoem said this.

We've been proactive to make sure that we have the right people voting, electing the right

leaders to lead this country.

Migration has been a huge flashpoint.

More people were deported under my husband and Barack Obama without

killing American citizens and without putting children into detention camps than were in

the first Trump term or this first year of Trump's second term.

There is a legitimate reason to have a debate

about things like migration. It went too far. It's been disruptive and destabilizing. And it needs to be

fixed in a humane way with secure borders that don't torture and kill people. What Marco Rubio went to Europe and said is telling Europeans to fear immigration, that it is a

civilizational threat.

It may be a lot of things.

I think we can all agree, and Marco Rubio said, you should control the door to your country,

and you should decide who comes in and who comes.

That's not in dispute.

But immigration is not a civilizational threat to Europeans, to Canadians or Americans.

Well, speaking as a Canadian, I know that immigration has built Canada, has made Canada.
