Yesterday's episode, a meaty philosophical discussion of the implications of the Newcastle takeover by the Saudi Public Welf Fund or sovereign wealth fund, public interest investment fund. Whatever they're calling it these days, you know where the money's coming from and you know how much it is. We discussed it from all angles. I think we got some things right. I think we got some things wrong. And I think in the feedback, there's been some great indications of where we were both of those things. So thank you for that. You know, it is great to be able to discuss a difficult topic with a lot of complexity and have a community of people who come back and say, hey, you know what? Like, I didn't love the way you said this or this really resonated with me instead of the usual kind of stuff that the internet gets accused of, which is basically like you are history's greatest monster, which is also true, but, you know, just didn't happen in this case. So thank you for that. A pleasant surprise and really appreciate it.

And obviously over time, I think opinions and ideas evolve and develop. So we're still in that stage of it. Today, we're going to talk about the four-game run where we picked up 10 points. What it means, what it doesn't mean. We'll do that with Scott. We'll do it with Dan Potts, who will be here as well and talk a little bit about the comparison of the plan this summer and how it looks in the early returns. So I'm excited to

do that as well because I think we're already starting to rethink opinions we may have had

from the summer, maybe feel that we're right about some of them, but also feel we're wrong

about others. And an inter-law is a perfect time for that kind of navel gazing, I think. So, last reminder that not this Sunday, but next Sunday at the Victoria Tavern and Holloway Road, we'll be all getting together, Clive, Tim, James Mc Nicholas, James Benj, and, yes, me. But, you know, try to ignore that if you can.

And we're all going to do a live podcast, which will be recorded in front of a live audience, and the tickets have been sold for that. But following that at 4.30 p.m. local time, up to 300 people can come for the social hour, where we will be doing what social people do, which is mostly, in my case, drinking my face off. I definitely won't do that because I'm a mature individual who is definitely not still in elementary school. So look, I know we said we weren't going to do the philosophical naval gazing stuff, but we are, but we're not going to do it philosophically. I want to just get your take on the NUFC takeover, Newcastle United, takeover by the Saudi Public Well Fund, not in terms of ethics

or morality or what it means for football. I just want to ask you, what is your time horizon?

What is your expectation for when the implications of this from a football standpoint will be felt. What do you see as a

realistic schedule, timetable, for the change in Newcastle's fortunes, and how substantial do you

think that will be? That's a really good question. And I know there was a lot of discussion about

this on Twitter yesterday. I think I kind of came down. I guess it depends on what you're asking
