Cliches suck. They show your readers that you're really not

using all your brain power to write the book that all of those people just purchased.

And your readers will take note. And I think I've brought that kind of thinking over to the

disappearance world with what

you've heard over the past nine years. I've questioned the dogma, we might call them cliches,

on the quality of dogs, the ability of private investigators to solve cases, the belief that once searches are done,

they don't need to be done again. And I can cite several other examples.

Well, with the disappearance of Corinna Slusser, I get to take on another topic that has become a cliche.

We all get to hear what it truly means to be trafficked.

Karina Slusser was raised in the eastern hills of Pennsylvania.

She had a small town upbringing where everyone

knew each other. She was a high school cheerleader and might have fit right in with the
