Summary

In part 1 of episode 51, Hunter takes us back to the town of Mason City, Iowa, to visit a case from 1993 that went cold for many years. One that has found itself in the public spotlight once again, as the federal death penalty has been reinstated. This is the story of a meth manufacturer who refused to spend his life behind bars, and would murder anyone who tried to put him there. This is the case of Dustin Lee Honken.
