One, two, three, go.

Hello, and welcome back to another episode of the Feminist Mormon Housewives podcast.

I'm your host, Lindy, bringing another episode in the Year of Polygamy series, where we seek

to understand the practice of Mormon plural marriage. This is your first time tuning in. I would

listeners who have been following this series,

again, I appreciate you listening so much. I have felt sort of this sort of riders block lately,

because as I've stumbled upon this period, there's just so much information, and I'm feeling

really stressed out and a lot of pressure to go in all different directions. And as I start one area of

study, it just like branches out into hundreds of other areas of study. And I'm not kidding, my notes

on just a section have turned into 181 pages. And I'm sure historians out there are laughing

because this is why historians focus on one subject and focus on that

one subject their entire lives. So it is very difficult to do this. So I'm going to make an announcement

and I hope this is an announcement that pleases people. A lot of the pressure has come for myself

in trying to fit this series into a year. That is the title of the series, a lot of the pressure has come for myself in trying to fit this series into a year.

But I would hope you would all be okay if this series is expanded as long as it takes,

maybe two years of polygamy, maybe a year in three months.

We'll see if I don't have pressure to go in all sorts of

directions, then I think we can get some more stories out there. And the reason why I want to do this

is technically on the schedule, I should be into post-manifesto polygamy by now. But there are

just so many amazing stories out there. We've barely touched the wives of Brigham Young.
