It's this week's episode of Startups for the Rest of Us. I am your host, Rob Walling. Today, I revisit

0:05.4

the six stages of SaaS growth. These are the stages that I talked through with Jordan Gahl,

0:10.6

about 10 episodes ago. It was 499 and 499 and a half where I compared the stages of drip

0:15.8

with his stages of cart hook. And today I bring a third founder on. His name is Anthony Eden. He runs

0:21.2

D.N. Simple. D.N. Simple is a self-funded startup 10 years in. He has a team size of 19 people.

0:27.9

They're fully remote and it's a domain management and they are a DNS provider as well. So they

0:32.9

compete with GoDaddy, name cheap, etc. I've spoken with Anthony before. He's been to at least a couple

0:38.3

microcomf Europe's. He was on MicroConf on air just a couple weeks ago, if you want to hear more

0:43.0

from him. And he told a really good founder origin story on Zen Founder. You can Google that,

0:48.1

or we'll actually link it up in the show notes, but a couple hundred episodes ago,

0:51.1

as a few years back, he had a really bad co-founder breakup with his

0:54.4

brother. And that's a pretty heart-wrenching story that he goes through. But before we dive in

0:59.5

to our conversation, I want to let you know about microcomf remote. This is something that we

1:03.5

planned more than a year ago before all the COVID stuff happened. We were going to do seven in-person

1:08.3

events and one virtual event called MicroConf Remote.

1:11.5

And we announced this, I believe it was November, December of 2019. And here it is. It's time to get

1:17.6

that going. So for now, mark your calendar for September 1st from 11 a.m. Eastern time to 4 p.m.

1:23.5

Eastern. Obviously, if you can't make the entire time, you can drop in and drop out, but you can head

1:27.9

to microcomfremote.com to reserve your spot and get a ticket, find out a little more about some of the

1:34.1

kooky, wild, and frankly, pretty novel, innovative stuff that we're working on for this. This is

1:39.5

not going to be your typical virtual summit. We've all been to too many of them in the past six

1:43.9

months,
