Summary

Eurydice Dixon was a 22‑year‑old Melbourne comedian who was attacked while walking home through Princes Park on the night of 12–13 June 2018. She had just finished performing at a comedy show when she was followed for more than an hour by 19‑year‑old Jaymes Todd, who assaulted and killed her in the park. Eurydice’s death sparked national grief and a widespread conversation about women’s safety in public spaces across Australia.
