We on Monday morning learned that nationals, founding principal owner Ted Learner had died.

He was 97, Ted Learner was born on October 15, 1925.

He, while growing up, became an usher at Griffith Stadium for the Washington Senators, he became

immensely successful in real estate.

The Learner Group's purchase of the Nats was vitalized on July 24, 2006.
