Today we're going to be covering a story that was suggested by one of our listeners

ages ago.

I, like, dug deep in the archive of suggestions to find this one.

And it's a cold case that was solved years later.

And it's a very harrowing story, especially

because, well, I don't want to give away too much, but the victim's daughter is the one who found

her body, and she's is the one who found her body.

And she's also the one that essentially helped get the victim's killer convicted.

Wow.

And it really happened against seemingly all odds.

So that's all I'll say for now.

But it's a very harrowing story. And I especially

wanted to share it because the victim's daughter really wants to kind of have her mother's legacy

be that families of unsolved crimes know that this can happen and it can be something that happens

even decades later.

Right.

On the morning of July 30th, 1970, 4-year-old Heidi Jones woke up like any normal morning in her home in Price, Utah.
