0:39.3	What's so historic about someone voting in an election?
0:42.1	It was historic because in 1872 women were not allowed to vote.
0:47.0	That's right, Dr. Grant.
0:48.0	Susan B Anthony led a group of women to the polls to vote.
0:50.0	They all voted and were arrested days later.
0:53.0	And Susan B. Anthony was then put on trial for voting.
0:56.0	Which led to women getting the right to vote, right?
0:59.0	Well, no, unfortunately, women wouldn't get the right to vote until nearly 50 years later in 1920.
1:04.2	But through her trial, Susan B. Anthony bought a lot of attention to the cause.
1:08.3	Yes, she did.
1:09.3	Golly, did she get thrown in jail for voting?
1:12.3	Nope, she was fine $100 for voting, but never went to jail.
