I came in the regular army as an indirect fire infantryman,

that's a mortar crew.

My first assignment was a mechanized infantry in Colorado with fourth

meck ID and I was really unhappy there, but I didn't I didn't see a great way out.

The one the one way out that I readily recognized is that if I could go to special operations units where I'm sure I was sure the level of motivation was much higher than it was where I was at with the one hurdle that

was in my way was airborne school. I had to have airborne school to get to any of these places,

you know, Rangers or Green Berets, and I still have a real terrible clinical
