On this episode of Newt's world as the year of 2019 comes to a close. I've been thinking about

and discussing with a lot of folks the year ahead a presidential election year. And while we're

focused on the lead up to the election I wanted to vote an episode of other significant issues

he should keep an eye on in 2020. My top five things to watch in 2020 include the US presidential

campaign in election Hong Kong and the evolution of China North Korea Brexit and the rise of Boris

Johnson has a populist conservative and the drug crisis on the Mexican cartels. There are a lot of

other topics that are important but I think these five are really strong and really powerful and

well worth paying attention to and I really recommend you keep up on these five.

The truth is we're having an idea what 2020 is going to be like. You couldn't have made up

the rise of Boris Johnson. You couldn't have made up Trump deciding randomly to walk across the

DMZ and North Korea and then at the same time not really see any sanctions so Kim Jong-un is not

all that happy. You couldn't make up the total mess that's going on in Syria right now. So I

thought about if I'll pick five topics I think a good starting point but I want to just say as a caveat
