So, you know, he's a true American because he's got that background.

And today we're going to talk about Christ's kingdom government, just like we do every Sunday.

We're going to talk about Christ's kingdom government in the family.

Everyone has a unique role to play.

And so, Barry, can you, you know, take us to the beginning, take us to how God designed this kingdom government back in Genesis.

Thank you, Sean. Yep, we were talking about that.

And so it is important that we go back to origins.

What is the original intent and design in the mind of God?

So here's a key passage of scripture here in Genesis chapter 2, starting at verse 15, where I read,

the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden to tend and to keep it.

Okay.

Those are key terms there, to tend, which means essentially to cultivate, all right, to tend and to keep it.

Keep can be understood as guarding, okay, like not keeping it for yourself like, you know, greediness.

Protect it.

Yes, an actual protect it, guard it, as in from invaders, intruders, people who want to do harm.

Violate it.
