Well, I was going to say despite my best efforts at trying to figure it all out, but I've made absolutely no effort whatsoever to try and understand what the European nation's cup is about.

I know we spoke about this on the R-Scast Extra a couple of weeks ago when I was in Spain and James tried to explain the format to me, but all I heard was...

And to be brutally honest, I'm not that interested to try and figure it all out.

I think you can, as a human being, you can learn things even if they're difficult, but I think it requires effort.

Just the tiniest littleest bit of application of your mind. And I'm not prepared to do that with the European nation's cup, whatever it is. It's the European nation's league.

I know that much. So I will continue on in wonderful blissful ignorance. I did see Jurgen Klopp say it was like the stupidest tournament that anybody's ever invented, ever.

Clearly, he hasn't been paying attention to the new brand of reality TV shows, but I think maybe he was just talking about football.

There is no Arsenal, of course, until not next weekend. If you had your hopes set on Arsenal coming back next Saturday or Sunday, your weekend would be once again infused with the very essence of Arsenal.

I'm sorry, I've got bad news for you again, because we're not playing until Monday night, one of those Monday night games. I really don't like the Monday night games.

So our interlul is longer than everybody else's interlul apart from Lester, but then who cares about Lester?

Apart from like Gary Linnaker, Alan Smith. He's a former Lester man, so we can forgive him his association with Lester.

But who else? Lester fans, of course. But we're not here to worry about their trials or tribulations when we've got enough of our own going on.

I've got enough going on here. I've got a completely destructive puppy. She's gone crazy this evening. I'm trying to record here. She's already torn all the stuffing out of her bed.

And then her football, she got a football that she plays, which she's quite a good footballer, you know, German. So she's got some skills.

The football that she's been carrying around with her for, I don't know, months now. She decided like she'd never seen it before, but absolutely berserk barking at it.

Like it was the first time she'd ever seen it, but then this happened the other day as well. I was taking her out for a walk and all of a sudden she stopped dead in her tracks. All her heckles went up.

There was a little bit of a low ground and then the barking began. And if you've ever heard a German shepherd bark, you will know that they are their barky dogs.

And what caused this barking? What terrifying new and unusual thing was she faced with that caused this reaction.
