Yet, in 2024, we discovered we were wrong. It got solved. Today I look at how that happened and why this should give hope to thousands of families. Well, if it helps, being that I used to live in Nevada, Nevada also has marriage records online.

I don't know if they go back to the 1940s, but you can access marriage records in the state of Nevada for free.

At least in Clark County, where Las Vegas is.

Maybe that will help you out a little bit. Because I've gone on there to check that for some cases that unfound is covered.

And another avenue that I have pursued is I contacted the IRS to see if, to see if, you know, Mary Jane's taxes, to see if there was a history of taxes after her initial disappearance.

You know, unfortunately, the federal government basically says, I can't, we're not releasing that to you.

The only person that could be released to it would be her next to kin, which at this point would be Anna.

But Mary Jane's never been declared legally deceased.

So for anime to give those records, Mary Jane would have to be declared legally deceased.

And we don't even know if there are tax records past 1945.

it's just, it's bureaucratic red tape that, you know, that we have to jump through,
