I think it's fair to say Chelsea were a bit dirty in their tactics and pretty disgraceful. I think tackles that would not have been appropriate in the Premier League, let alone preseason, but there we are. Best of reasons. All right. So, I i mean look you you're the expert um and you've seen the video you've isolated i think the mechanism of injury is what you would call

it uh or you can correct me because that's probably wrong but that's right why don't you walk me through

what you've seen on the video on the images about uh thomas party and then maybe maybe we can get into a little bit of of some speculation after that

yeah sure i mean so when you see it it's essentially as a tackle from behind and that right ankle

sort it's hit it's hard to tell if it got rolled up on or not.

It's hard to tell like how hard it got hit,

which would be easier to determine the severity level.

But you can see how it rolls.

And so that right away for me speaks to what's called a high ankle sprain with the way that it was trying

twisted inwards.

And there might have been some we call external or outward rotation.

And so that's where I was really looking at when I saw the moment of injury, the mechanism

of injury.
