I realize of course that that is an unconventional way to start the show, but those of you who have been listening to this podcast for however many years it's been going now, 2016.

What year is it? Over, yeah coming up on 12 years now this podcast is running.

I think there would be an expectation that I address the key issue of the week.

It would have been remiss of me wouldn't it to to overlook something which gave us all that much joy.

And in this crazy old world we're living in right now where so much feels wrong, so much feels like it's out of control out of our hands.

It's like watching a car crash about to happen in slow motion and we can all see the car crash.

We can all see the two cars coming together and there's a this kind of a button there that we could push.

And if we push the button the car crash wouldn't happen but nobody's pushing the button and everything is it's crazy and nobody quite knows why or how all this has happened and we're feeling discombobulated it's hard to understand that all the things we thought we knew are no longer true somehow that the world is pivoted on its axis.

Up is down and down is up and left and right are not the same as they were and it's crazy it is crazy but the one thing that we can hold on to folks.

The one thing we can take as red. The one thing that will be our anchor in this topsy turvy world that we live in right now is Jose Marino's third season at a club.

It is like the sun rising in whichever side it rises and sets in whichever side it sets east and west.

Oh there's the dogs but you just know don't you that that's summer as he heads into his third season in charge he'll start complaining he'll be moaning he'll be miserable he'll be unhappy he'll find fault with well pretty much everything and then shit will start to unravel now I have to say I thought it might take a little bit longer this time around.

But he's had this transfer standoff with Manchester United Edward word their chief executive the guy with a head like a badly washed potato he's basically in a power play with marino and marino knows that he's not going to win.
